2026-2027 Club Membership Renewal

BrisSUP Club membership and Paddle Queensland PQ/Paddle Australia PA memberships for FY 2027 (financial year) are due on 1 July 2026. Reminders for BrisSUP membership renewal have been emailed to members by Paddle Australia. Pay through the Paddle Australia portal. The instructions on the email are copied below for your convenience.

Please check your Paddle Australia profile and personal details and make sure you have you have full contact details (address, mobile, emergency contact etc.)

How to Renew Your Membership

You can renew your membership via the Paddle Australia Membership and Events Portal which you can access by clicking here or via the Paddle Australia website.

Account Access

To access your account, you will need your PA username and password.

Once Logged In

Please review and update your contact details by selecting "Update Details". Renew your membership by clicking “Membership” at the top of the screen then selecting “RENEW”.

Paddle Australia & State Paddle Association Memberships

Your Paddle Australia and State Paddle Association memberships will be processed at the same time as your BrisSUP Inc membership. Further details regarding fees are available here: https://paddle.org.au/membership-information/#clubcosts

Why the change in fees?

The new fee structure was promoted widely when BrisSUP  changed over to Paddle Australia (from Surfing Australia) in July 2025 and members who joined BrisSUP at the start of 2025 have paid no fees for 18 months.

Paddle Australia and Paddle Queensland fees were waived for the first year. Paddle Queensland membership fee kicks in in July 2026, and is cheaper than originally advertised. PQ clubs are offering a large number of events and PQ is an active supporter of our SuP Triseries

The future of SUP in Queensland and Australia is looking strong and it goes well beyond just a weekend social paddle. Whatever level you paddle at, we hope you appreciate the benefits of belonging to our BrisSUP club and the wealth of experience and different events you have access to. Know that your membership fees will be supporting the future of SUP at all levels. Hosting the National SUP Championships in 2027 in Queensland and making a bid for the World Paddle Games (2030) doesn’t happen without grass roots support.

The Club takes the safety of its members seriously and we ask people to become a member so that they are covered by Paddle Australia insurance when they take part in club-sanctioned events.

Surfing Queensland

Up until 30 June 2025, BrisSUP Club Memberships were managed through Surfing Queensland which is affiliated with Surfing Australia for Club insurance purposes. BrisSUP affilliation with Surfing Australia will cease on 30 December 2025. BrisSUP members with a current financial membership in 2025 will no longer be covered for insurance under Surfing Australia from that date.
